Part V

"Curly Tops"

Not the chocolate. Her hair. Cath had curly hair. She was pretty, nice and had a great personality. She was also a dancer. She was a good friend of mine and Sheila's best friend. You might ask is how I got into her. Well it started during the intramurals of 2009. I even joined the freaking Dance Competition. (We won, btdubs.) Anyway, it was the Volleyball competition and I just found
out that our team, the Bears, won. I rushed down to see my teammates and on the way there, I bumped into Cath. Overcome by spontaneous emotion, I kissed Cath thrice on her cheek. She didn't mind and asked me why I kissed her. I told her how our team won and I ran off. A few days later I find out from Patty that Cath likes me. Which was flattering considering I was just shit and she was out of my league. The reason why she was into me because I was her close friend and that she could not forget the kiss. She said that with each kiss on her cheek, it got closer to her lips. I have a thing for kissing girls. Like Peachy. Hahaha. More on that later.

I hit it off pretty good with Cath, we would text and chat on the internet a lot. On some days I would buy a pint of ice cream and share like what we used to do when Sheila was still around. But our crushes on each other didn't last really long. One normal day while chatting , I got upset for something that she said to me and I ended up swearing. It just was an expression but she took it on herself and thought that I was swearing at her. It was a misunderstanding and she got mad at me and cried. I apologized and gave her the last pint of ice cream I would ever give her. I never did anything to get her back. We were still friends until she ended up with Jason and we hardly ever spoke again. End of my story with her.

Q: Do "out-of-each-others-leagues" relationships ever work?
Q: At what point should you try doing something to get the girl back?
